Utility Assistance Program - Phase 3 (2025)

CAO of WNY’s Utility Assistance Program provides emergency support to households at risk of utility shutoff. Eligible families may receive up to $300 in assistance, which can be applied to past-due bills for electric, heating, water, phone, or internet service. Payments may be split between two bills (up to $150 each).

What You’ll Need

Applicants must provide:

  • Valid photo ID (Head of Household)

  • Social Security Number (Head of Household)

  • Identification for other household members

  • Proof of address

  • Proof of household income (past 30 days)

  • Current utility bill(s)
