CAO OF WNY CELEBRATES 60 YEARS WITH AWARD LUNCHEON HONORING COMMUNITY LEADERS
The Community Action Organization of Western New York (CAO of WNY) is proud to announce its 60th Anniversary Award Luncheon, a milestone celebration recognizing six decades of dedicated service to families and communities across Erie County. The event will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Samuel’s Grande Manor, 8750 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221. Doors open at 11:00 AM.
This year’s luncheon will honor distinguished leaders whose commitment and service have left a lasting impact on Western New York, including Governor Kathy Hochul, New York State Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes, New York State Senator April N.M. Baskin, Dr. LaVonne E. Ansari, David Rust, Rogerleen Williamson, and Charlene Miller (Momma Charlene).
“Proceeds from the Award Luncheon will directly support CAO’s Senior Services, Youth, Workforce Development, and Emergency Services, helping us continue to uplift families and empower individuals across Western New York,” said Dr. Marie A. Cannon, CEO of CAO of WNY. “This Award Luncheon will not only recognize the impactful contributions of leaders in our community but also ensure a strong future for the families we serve and the programs that provide essential services to those who need them most.”
Tickets are $75 per person, and guests can also choose to support the event by placing an advertisement in the commemorative 60th Anniversary Journal or becoming a sponsor. Seating is limited, and early ticket purchases are encouraged.
