SNAP Benefits Temporarily Delayed — CAO and Our Partners Are Here to Help
As the government shutdown stretches into its fifth week, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits are temporarily paused, leaving many Western New York families uncertain about how to access food. CAO of WNY remains committed to supporting our community during this time.
If your household is affected by the SNAP benefit delay, you are not alone — and help is available. Below, you’ll find details about CAO’s food distributions and partner resources throughout the month of November.
CAO Food Assistance in November 2025
Location: CAO Food Pantry — 347 East Ferry St., Buffalo, NY 14208
Dates: November 1–30, 2025 (Tuesday–Friday, 10AM–2PM, no Saturdays)
Residents of zip codes 14204, 14208, 14209, and 14211 are welcome.
Please bring photo ID, proof of address, and reusable bags. Service is first come, first served, with one visit per household every 14 days.
FeedMore WNY Mobile Food Pantry
Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10AM
Location: 347 East Ferry St., Buffalo, NY 14208
Hosted inside the Resource Council of WNY.
Arrive early — hours are short, and lines form fast.

CAO Mobile Markets
CAO’s Mobile Market program provides fresh, locally grown produce at no cost.
Events are first come, first served — please bring reusable bags and arrive early.
